I ran into George Chuvalo at a breakfast diner in Toronto just before my first meeting of the day. What a great guy, his mitts were huge.

Jason Ellis at UFC 129 Fan Expo
RED DRAGONS !!!!! I met Jason Ellis at the Dethrone booth, and it was funny because I walked right by Jon Fitch and Cain Velasquez to say hi to Ellismate. Cain signed a picture of himself for me but I left it there, I didn't even say hi to Fitch....I just wanted to say thanks to Ellis for the show and he signed the Ellis Dethrone shirt I bought. Jason Ellis is the future or Radio - the guy is awesome.
Met BJ Penn at UFC 129
I just happened to be in front of BJ's Mom's charity's booth and The Prodigy showed up unannounced. A crowd immediately grew and chants of BJ started getting louder every second, it happended so fast it was hilarious. BJ was by far the fighter with the most star power at the expo that day. I felt like I was 12 asking for a picture so I bought 3 shirts to support the charity and he came over and said thanks, some coordinator snapped the pic. BJ is the man.

Is it Greg Jackson's fault - or is it just the rules...
I posted this on MMAJunkie.com as well.....
That victory was not cool in any way shape or form....the problem doesn't lie with Greg Jackson, or Guida, or GSP or whatever.....the problem is the rules. The rules favor this boring and UNIMPRESSIVE dry-humping style of "grinding" out a victory.
If you were allowed to knee or kick the head of a downed opponent you wouldn't see Guida hanging out in the full or half guard trying to land shoulder shots. BRUTAL VICTORY.
I pondered who is to blame for this, I realized that it may be Jackson's strategy, or Guida taking notes from GSP....but the fact is who can blame them, this is a career for Guida and he needs to win to advance.
I'm not a fan of standing fighters or separating them from clinches etc, but if the rules don't change (and I doubt they will based on Athletic Commissions not wanting soccer kicks) then we have to start training judges better. Pettis was FAR MORE impressive in that loss than Clay was in that victory.
Not cool.
